Together, we work to make up Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi P.C., an experienced and seasoned team of trial lawyers in the New Jersey area specializing in all of your needs! We know our way around New Jersey and its laws, and will work hard to get you what you deserve.
Maggiano, DiGirolamo & Lizzi P.C.(MDL) has rightfully earned the reputation of achieving justice for our clients. Our dedication to protecting the rights of the injured is an unfaltering commitment to the community we serve, and that is proven again and again in the successes we secure for our clients.
Our ongoing knowledge in New Jersey and New York state laws can get you the compensation you deserve if we decide to take your case. For instance, New Jersey is a comparative negligence state, which means that the plaintiff can win damages as long as his or her negligence was not greater than that of the other party involved.
You can be partially negligent and still win damages, as long as the other party contributed more than 50% of the negligence in play. New York, however, follows a rule of “pure comparative negligence” which means, as a plaintiff, your compensation can be reduced by an amount equal to your percentage of fault. These things are important to note and we will guide you through your options based on location and situation!
We can get you the results you want to see in court
We have collected more than $300 million for our clients, which is why we’ve grown a sort of bond and trust with many clients. Through many verdicts and settlements, we have brought success to many people’s lives. For instance…
$1.5 Million • Medical Malpractice… has been given to an 85-year-old widower in a medical malpractice suit for the loss of his 65-year-old wife due to severe injury of the popliteal artery and vein of the leg. This took place after a total knee replacement surgery causing massive loss of blood and resulting in shock, liver, and acute renal failure with resultant metabolic acidosis.
$10,000,000 • Motor Vehicle Accident… has been given in a motor vehicle accident to a government worker on assignment in South Africa who was thrown from the vehicle he was riding as a passenger and alleged to have not been wearing his seatbelt. This resulted in severe brain injury causing significant disability in the use of his legs and hands as well as visual impairment. We were able to argue that use of a seatbelt in the facts of this case would have resulted in similarly severe if not worse injuries and perhaps death.
So say no more – we will work with you no matter what the case if you do indeed have one. A consultation can tell you much more information so speak with us today and see the results you want to see and rightfully deserve!
