Snowmobiles Recalled Due to Fire Hazard
On November 24, 2015, Ski-Doo Snowmobiles were recalled due to damage to the fuel hose causing a leak, which poses a fire hazard. About 2,800 snowmobiles were part of this recall. 68 Models of these 2016 Ski-Doo Snowmobiles were recalled, each equipped with a 600 HO E-TEC engine or an 800R E-TEC engine. The vehicles came in all sorts of various colors. They were sold at Ski-Doo dealers nationwide from September 2015 through November 2015 from about $12,000 to $17,000.
So far, no injuries or related incidents have been reported. However, if you believe you own one of these vehicles, you should immediately stop using it and contact BRP to schedule a free repair. Celery Products Recalled Due to Possible Health Risk
On November 26, 2015, Taylor Farms Pacific recalled an assortment of products that included celery because they could potentially contain E. Coli. They were tested positive from a sample that was taken by the Montana Department of Health. This is a very serious bacterium that could cause a diarrheal illness that includes the occurrence of bloody stools. Many healthy adults could recover from this illness within a week; however, some will form a kidney failure known as Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS). HUS can occur in young children and the elderly, and could lead to serious kidney damage and death in rare cases. Some of the products recalled include Fresh To Go Bistro Snack, CST Celery, CST Celery Sticks, CST Turkey Dinner Veggie, and Raley’s Country Potato Salad.

Roman Shades Recalled Due to Strangulation Hazard
On November 24, 2015, Lutron Electronics recalled roman shades due to the fact that strangulations can occur. This happens when a child places his or her neck between the exposed ribbon and the fabric on the backside of the shade or when a child pulls the tape out and wraps it around his or her neck.
About 240 units have been recalled. They were made out of fabric mounted on a metal frame, manufactured between December 2009 and July 2015. Each shade contains two to six vertical mesh lift bands that are 8 inches wide and are secured by lift band clamps at the bottom of the shade. A 1-inch wide vertical hobble tape runs the length of the shade. Lutron Electronics appears with the manufacture date on a white label on the shade tube at the top of the shade. If the label cannot be located, Lutron Electronics should be contacted.
No incidents or injuries have been reported. However, consumers are urged to stop using the Roman Shades if they have them and contact Lutron Electronics for a full refund or a free replacement shade.
