All-Terrain vehicles Recalled Due to Fire Hazard
Youth Model Can-Am all-terrain vehicles have been recalled due to the fuel filter breaking and leaking, which can pose a fire hazard. They are model years 2015 and 2016 Youth Model Can-Am DS 90 and DS 90 X ATVs and come in black and yellow color. Eight reports of incidents have been received by the BRP Company of fuel filters breaking and leaking at dealerships. However, very luckily, no injuries have been reported. These models were sold at Can-Am dealers nationwide from May 2015 through September 2015 for between $2,800 and $3,800.

To remedy the situation, BRP says that consumers should immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact a BRP dealer to schedule a free repair. BRP is also notifying registered consumers directly about the recall. However, as a consumer, you can contact BRP toll-free at 888-272-9222 from 9 am to 9 pm Monday through Friday.

Off-Highway Vehicles Recalled Due to Fire Hazard
Recreational Off-Highway Vehicles (ROV) have been recalled by Polaris due to a fire hazard. The fire hazard is posed when the vehicles’ fuel tank vent line can be misrouted, causing it to become pinched. This then causes the fuel tank to pressurize and leak fuel. About 53,000 vehicles have been recalled. The list of recalled vehicles and VINs are available at www.polaris.com.

As far as incidents and injuries, Polaris received four reports of RZR 900s with fuel leaks and two reports of vehicles actually catching fire. One of these incidents included a minor burn injury to a consumer. The company also received 25 reports of RZR 1000s with fuel leaks, but no injuries have been reported for them.

To remedy the recall, consumers have been urged to immediately stop using the recalled vehicles and contact their local Polaris dealer for repair scheduling. The repairs will be done for free. Polaris is also working on contacting customers directly and sending recall letters to each registered owner. Hunting Blinds Recalled Due to Fire Hazard
On October 6, 2015, Sportsmans Guide made a recall to pop-up hunting blinds that were not made of flame-resistant materials. This could pose a fire hazard to consumers. About 17,000 units were part of the recall and have a spring-loaded steel frame and camouflage-colored heavy-duty 150-denier nylon shell with a zipper door. They weigh approximately 20 pounds. They were sold exclusively at the Sportsmans Guide outlet stores and online from January 2013 through July 2015. The price ranged from $50 to $100.

As far as incidents and injuries, none have been reported as of yet. However, consumers are urged to immediately stop using the blinds and contact Sportsman Guide for a free replacement.
